Panel Reflection: Muslims in NYC

Page history last edited by PBworks 13 years, 8 months ago

Today we were able to hear about the everyday lives of our Muslim neighbors in NYC from a variety of perspectives

  • What did you learn?
  • What surprised you?
  • Are there still questions you have about the practice of Islam?
  • Are there questions you still have about what it's like to be a Muslim in New York?
  • Was this a beneficial experience for you?
  • How did this experience compare to learning through books, the internet, and field trips?
  • Is this something you would want to experience again?

Write a reflection considering all or some of the questions above. Your responses will be shared with the educators from The Interfaith Center; please be honest and thoughtful, but pay attention to CPSS. Your work should be long enough to express all that you want to express, but should also show that you have given this some thoughtful reflection.

Please email your responses (as an attached Word document) to Nayantara by 8:45 AM on Friday, May 20th.

If you have something you would like to share with me privately, put it in the body of the email. I will only be sharing the Word documents with the Interfaith Center. -N
