Essence means the the core of something. It means the real heart of it. I like this word because it makes me think about it I don't just know what it means off the top of my head.

Sweet is not salty, sour or bitter. This word makes me think of candy! It also makes me want halloween. I always think of good things when I think of the word sweet.

Imperishable: On page 70 of Keeping Corner the book says "It is unborn, imperishable. I like this word because it is fun to say. And it seems like when you listen to the sounds of it, it could be a good thing or a bad thing. Imperishable to me sounds like it means something that can not die or that goes on forever.
Elevation: This word means (according to the dictionary), the action or fact of elevating or being elevated.

I like this word because it sounds very formal and complicated.
